Our skilled staff and state of the art laboratories are at the forefront of using DNA technology in ornithology and we provide our services to both businesses and the general public.
We have processed thousands of eggs for sexing experiments (the peregrine breeding season is particularly busy for us!) from many different bird species.
We are able to help with species identification and parentage testing in certain species. Our research in genomics is bringing forth new assays and opportunities, including a novel identity card product for owners of protected bird species.
We offer certain disease screens by PCR to supplement other forms of diagnosis, such as for aspergillosis.
We are keen to collaborate with conservation projects, the prevention of wildlife crime and population monitoring, so if you have an interest in this area, please get in touch.
Please choose the service you require from the menu on the left and we look forward to being of assistance to you.
